About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build, lead, and develop a centralized RFX team that supports all three SBUs with consistent processes and high‑quality service delivery.
- Design and implement a standardized, enterprise‑wide RFX framework, ensuring alignment with sourcing strategies, compliance requirements, and organizational goals.
- Oversee end-to-end execution of all RFX activities, including project intake, scoping, documentation development, supplier engagement, evaluation, and award coordination.
- Partner with sourcing teams and Commodity Leads to identify opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and value creation across categories and business units.
- Create and own KPIs, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to measure team performance, cycle times, quality, compliance, and realized savings.
- Develop and maintain streamlined workflows, templates, and governance models to enhance operational efficiency and consistency.
- Ensure RFX processes support speed, quality, and fairness in supplier selection while promoting competitive and strategic sourcing outcomes.
- Coach and mentor the RFX team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, collaboration, and professional development.
- Lead cross-functional communication and change management efforts to drive adoption of the centralized RFX model and secure stakeholder alignment.
- Monitor industry best practices and emerging tools in procurement and RFX management; recommend and implement enhancements to systems, processes, and methodologies.
- Provide leadership oversight for supplier interactions during RFX events to ensure professionalism, strategic alignment, and clarity in communications.
- Produce regular executive-level reports summarizing activity volumes, outcomes, savings performance, and strategic insights.
- Travel up to 40% required.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience.
- 8+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Experience developing and managing enterprise‑level RFX processes, tools, or centralized sourcing functions.
- Experience with DFAR compliant proposals.
- Proven knowledge of sourcing best practices, competitive bidding methodology, procurement governance, and supplier evaluation techniques.
