About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a first-line resource for employees and managers by answering incoming team calls and providing accurate, timely guidance on RTX Global Time and Labor policies and procedures.
- Create, triage, and manage service cases in the designated case management system, ensuring proper documentation, categorization, and follow‑through until resolution.
- Effective customer support through reliable, quick, and accurate problem resolution.
- Maintain a high standard of confidentiality, accuracy, and professionalism when handling sensitive employee information.
- Identify recurring issues or process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance the employee support experience and ensure compliance.
- Understand and ensure compliance with federal & State wage and hour laws and RTX policies.
Requirements
What you’ll need- An Associates degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant payroll, timekeeping, finance, auditing, and/or compliance experience.
- Strong PC-based skills; Experience demonstrating intermediate skills in MS Word and Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.)
- Experience in Payroll or Timekeeping gained in a corporate environment.
- Working knowledge of SAP, EV5, and Workday with emphasis within areas of Payroll or Timekeeping
- Detail oriented
- Self-starter with ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize task to manage workload effectively with effective problem solving and decision-making skills to promote work efficiency
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service through verbal and written communication in a corporate environment
