About the role
- Support the processing of engineering change requests in the PLM system.
- Assist in analyzing product documentation for accuracy and consistency.
- Coordinate with design, drafting, and other engineering functions to ensure proper documentation.
- Monitoring engineering change releases and support timely incorporation into production.
- Help maintain drawing change logs and provide input for priority escalations.
- Participate in configuration management meetings and support PLM data accuracy.
- Assist in creating and updating documents, work instructions, and engineering logs.
- Provide administrative and technical support for internal/external audits.
- Help maintain the Engineering SharePoint site and coordinate updates across teams.
Requirements
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
- Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Knowledge of engineering principles and project management basics.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Exposure to Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools (e.g., TEAMCENTER).
- Knowledge of configuration management or data management practices.
- Experience in engineering internships, co-ops, or academic projects.
- Familiarity with Continuous Improvement (CI) concepts.
