About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop requirements for a highly integrated DAL A computing system in accordance with industry guidance (ARP4754B) and program plans.
- Drive the product architecture discussions, focusing on designing systems that are not just effective but also certifiable.
- Close collaboration with Hardware, Software, Safety, and Security teams.
- 10% travel as needed.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
- Experience with safety critical system, hardware, or software development (e.g. DO-178C, DO-254, or ARP4754A/B).
- Experience authoring and validating requirements
- Experience with the avionics equipment certification process.
- Experience working with stakeholders to generate concepts of operations and use cases.
- Experience authoring in-depth technical documents
- Experience working with and testing embedded hardware and software.
- Experience developing automated tests utilizing scripting.
