About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee the scope, budget, and schedule for the overall development of the system
- Integrate the sub-products into a complete Radar Set product
- Lead a cross-functional team including members from Engineering, Operations, Integrated Supply Chain, and Quality through hardware development and production
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience implementing EVMS and Risk & Opportunity Management
- Manage design completion while balancing performance with the ability to meet customers' critical schedule requirements
- Review program status tracking with Engineering and Program Leadership
Requirements
What you’ll need- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- Minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years’ experience
- Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in mechanical design
- Experience leading and participating in design, development and production activities
- Experience preparing both technical and cost proposals
- Experience with earned value management and other program management skills
- Experience presenting challenging technical issues to senior leadership
