About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead PSA technical areas, including engine performance, operability, system-level modeling (SOAPP, NPSS), and control system understanding.
- Independently execute, review, and validate PSA analyses and models, leveraging Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) when appropriate.
- Coordinate test cell performance trend monitoring, correlation, EagleNet case management, and communications with CTS.
- Engage airlines, lessors, and field representatives while safeguarding Pratt & Whitney IP.
- Lead discussions related to fleet surges, mission analysis, EC impacts, and engineering studies.
- Main point of contact for program communications and status. Provide a status update in the EDSIT and SPIT forums.
- Contributes to the development of goals of the discipline and planning efforts (budgets, operational plans, etc.).
- Guide early-career engineers and foster a collaborative, learning-focused team environment.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
- 8 years of engineering experience or an Advanced degree with 5 years of engineering experience.
- Experience in Propulsion System Analysis (PSA).
- Technical leadership experience.
- Agile methodology experience.
- English (read, write, speak) is required when communicating with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who only speak English.
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
