About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead PSA technical areas, including engine performance, operability, system-level modeling (SOAPP, NPSS), and control system understanding.
  • Independently execute, review, and validate PSA analyses and models, leveraging Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) when appropriate.
  • Coordinate test cell performance trend monitoring, correlation, EagleNet case management, and communications with CTS.
  • Engage airlines, lessors, and field representatives while safeguarding Pratt & Whitney IP.
  • Lead discussions related to fleet surges, mission analysis, EC impacts, and engineering studies.
  • Main point of contact for program communications and status. Provide a status update in the EDSIT and SPIT forums.
  • Contributes to the development of goals of the discipline and planning efforts (budgets, operational plans, etc.).
  • Guide early-career engineers and foster a collaborative, learning-focused team environment.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
  • 8 years of engineering experience or an Advanced degree with 5 years of engineering experience.
  • Experience in Propulsion System Analysis (PSA).
  • Technical leadership experience.
  • Agile methodology experience.
  • English (read, write, speak) is required when communicating with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who only speak English.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
