About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide engineering support for quality notifications
Provide guidance for supplier technical inquiries
Execute hardware Engineering Changes (ECs) to improve quality, cost, and producibility metrics
Perform Computer-Aided Design (CAD) functions to manipulate and create geometries, models, and assemblies
Interpret and define tolerances and features in part drawings
Develop and incorporate new ways to advance technology and improve processes
Perform engineering analyses such as structural assessments and other calculations
Support escape investigations, identifying root causes and execute implementation of corrective actions
Provide design support in integrated product teams to implement design solutions that balance performance, cost, schedule, and quality requirements
Prepare and present status and technical content to Program Chief Engineers, APU management, customers, and suppliers
Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
2 years of engineering experience or an Advanced degree in Engineering
Experience with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook)
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings; familiarity with ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards
