About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supports the development of project plans, schedules and budgets
- Tracks progress, resolves problems, develops solutions, and forecasts project revenue
- Coordinates with other functional organizations
- Identifies and addresses project problems, analyzes data gathered, and develops solutions and recommendations
- Develops project plans, schedules and budget
- Maintains and presents plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the project(s)
- Performs risks assessments and develop mitigation plan as needed
- Facilitates project tasks with the various functional organizations
- Support military budget EVMS activities & support project management activities
- Actively participate in initiatives for continuous improvement using ACE tools and support AS9100 efforts.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Civil or Aerospace Engineering
- 5 years of engineering experience or an Advanced degree with 3 years of engineering experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications
- Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- Advanced Engineering degree or MBA
- Experience working in the Aerospace Industry or with jet engines
- Previous gas turbine compressor experience
- Experience with MS Office, Teamcenter, SAP, MS Project or other scheduling software
- English (read, write, speak) is required when communicating with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who only speak English.
