About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a clear execution and delivery schedule for the supplier's products, in partnership with the supplier
  • Communicate status (challenges, actions, owners, needs) at various levels within both Raytheon and the supplier
  • Drive closure of actions that are owned by Raytheon by building relationships
  • Drive closure of actions at the supplier by gaining trust and clearly communicating Raytheon priorities
  • Build relationships with supplier counterparts and executives to improve supplier performance and to ensure alignment with our current execution and future business priorities and strategies.
  • Discuss material, technical, and resource challenges from a position of manufacturing experience
  • Travel expected at least 25-50% of the time.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience.
  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.
  • The ability to perform duties with minimal oversight; ability to understand the organization’s goals, create the plan, and then determine the tactical tasks to achieve success.
  • Ability to travel 25-40% domestically
  • Leadership experience.
  • Program Management, Commodity Management, Supplier Performance Management, and/or Procurement experience.
  • Defense Industry Experience and familiarity with FAR/DFAR requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence across a matrix organization.
  • Demonstrated experience developing suppliers and working with suppliers to improve performance and affordability.
  • Demonstrated experience in the Electronic Commodity.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to apply critical thinking throughout the supplier performance and oversight process.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and present executive level reviews and briefings.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
