About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop, implement, and maintain a clear execution and delivery schedule for the supplier's products, in partnership with the supplier
Communicate status (challenges, actions, owners, needs) at various levels within both Raytheon and the supplier
Drive closure of actions that are owned by Raytheon by building relationships
Drive closure of actions at the supplier by gaining trust and clearly communicating Raytheon priorities
Build relationships with supplier counterparts and executives to improve supplier performance and to ensure alignment with our current execution and future business priorities and strategies.
Discuss material, technical, and resource challenges from a position of manufacturing experience
Travel expected at least 25-50% of the time.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience.
U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.
The ability to perform duties with minimal oversight; ability to understand the organization’s goals, create the plan, and then determine the tactical tasks to achieve success.
Ability to travel 25-40% domestically
Leadership experience.
Program Management, Commodity Management, Supplier Performance Management, and/or Procurement experience.
Defense Industry Experience and familiarity with FAR/DFAR requirements.
Demonstrated ability to influence across a matrix organization.
Demonstrated experience developing suppliers and working with suppliers to improve performance and affordability.
Demonstrated experience in the Electronic Commodity.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to apply critical thinking throughout the supplier performance and oversight process.
Demonstrated ability to lead and present executive level reviews and briefings.
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
