About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic financial transactions through financial modeling, presentation development, and due diligence.
- Monitor and evaluate acquisition targets and peer activities, including tracking key events and analyzing financial statements.
- Support integration and separation planning for businesses involved in acquisitions or divestitures.
- Build analytical models to support various strategic analyses with limited supervision.
- Contribute to the development and execution of RTX’s enterprise and business unit strategies.
- Conduct market, competitive, and financial analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Assist in preparing senior-level briefings by summarizing insights from detailed analyses.
- Manage multiple projects while collaborating effectively in a cross-functional environment.
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience; or an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Demonstrated analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Prior experience with RTX Corporate Strategy and Development Team.
- Must be a U.S. Person.
- Experience in aerospace & defense, industrial, or technology sectors is preferred.
- Several years of transactional experience (e.g., investment banking, corporate development, consulting, venture capital).
