About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic financial transactions through financial modeling, presentation development, and due diligence.
Monitor and evaluate acquisition targets and peer activities, including tracking key events and analyzing financial statements.
Support integration and separation planning for businesses involved in acquisitions or divestitures.
Build analytical models to support various strategic analyses with limited supervision.
Contribute to the development and execution of RTX’s enterprise and business unit strategies.
Conduct market, competitive, and financial analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Assist in preparing senior-level briefings by summarizing insights from detailed analyses.
Manage multiple projects while collaborating effectively in a cross-functional environment.

Requirements

What you’ll need

University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience; or an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
Demonstrated analytical and financial modeling skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Prior experience with RTX Corporate Strategy and Development Team.
Must be a U.S. Person.
Experience in aerospace & defense, industrial, or technology sectors is preferred.
Several years of transactional experience (e.g., investment banking, corporate development, consulting, venture capital).
