About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Advise and/or represent the organization on contract negotiation and administration matters
- Provide sound contract management to meet customer obligations, achieve company objectives and comply with company policies
- Effectively manage contractual scope and terms and conditions to ensure work is performed to the overall contract scope
- Develop and enhance positive customer relationships for working contractual matters to resolution
- Draft, interpret, and manage contract documents in support of Contracts and the Business Unit
- Leverage excellent relationships with Program Managers, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, and other functions to drive closure on complex contractual issues and achieve business results
- Some Domestic and International travel will be required to meet with the customer (approximately 2-4 times per year)
Requirements
What you’ll need- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
- Experience with one or more of the following: Contracts Administration, Subcontracts Administration, Program/Project Management, Estimating and Pricing (E&P) or Supply Chain Management (SCM)
- Experience with U.S. Government contracts under the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and/or the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
