About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead execution of an Operations large scale multi-year capital investment portfolio supporting a significant enterprise backlog
  • Oversee multiple concurrent programs across production, development, and transformation lifecycles
  • Ensure alignment with Long-Range Plan (LRP) and strategic growth priorities
  • Drive prioritization, resource allocation, and portfolio optimization across initiatives
  • Manage all phases of capital projects: planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and deployment
  • Ensure adherence to cost, schedule, scope, and technical performance requirements
  • Implement standardized project management methodologies and governance frameworks
  • Drive risk identification, mitigation, and escalation processes
  • Lead coordination across key functions including: Engineering (new and emerging technologies), Quality, Manufacturing & Operations (multi-site production environments), Supply Chain, Finance, Contracts & Compliance, Facilities, EHS, Security, and Digital/IT
  • Monitor and drive operational performance using KPIs such as cost efficiency and capital productivity
  • Ensure strong financial discipline including budget management, forecasting, and ROI realization
  • Enable advanced manufacturing capabilities and infrastructure modernization
  • Support business growth through execution of programs that lead to follow-on opportunities and competitive advantage
  • Influence executive decision-making through data-driven insights and program reporting
  • Lead and develop a team of program managers, project managers, and functional specialists
  • Provide hands-on operational oversight
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience
  • An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years experience
  • 12+ years of experience in program management, capital project execution, or operations leadership
  • Experience managing large-scale capital programs ($300M+)
  • Experience in complex, regulated industries (e.g., aerospace, defense, manufacturing, industrials)
  • Experience leading cross-functional and multi-site teams
  • Experience with international programs and multi-country operations
  • Ability to travel domestically as required
