About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead execution of an Operations large scale multi-year capital investment portfolio supporting a significant enterprise backlog
Oversee multiple concurrent programs across production, development, and transformation lifecycles
Ensure alignment with Long-Range Plan (LRP) and strategic growth priorities
Drive prioritization, resource allocation, and portfolio optimization across initiatives
Manage all phases of capital projects: planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and deployment
Ensure adherence to cost, schedule, scope, and technical performance requirements
Implement standardized project management methodologies and governance frameworks
Drive risk identification, mitigation, and escalation processes
Lead coordination across key functions including: Engineering (new and emerging technologies), Quality, Manufacturing & Operations (multi-site production environments), Supply Chain, Finance, Contracts & Compliance, Facilities, EHS, Security, and Digital/IT
Monitor and drive operational performance using KPIs such as cost efficiency and capital productivity
Ensure strong financial discipline including budget management, forecasting, and ROI realization
Enable advanced manufacturing capabilities and infrastructure modernization
Support business growth through execution of programs that lead to follow-on opportunities and competitive advantage
Influence executive decision-making through data-driven insights and program reporting
Lead and develop a team of program managers, project managers, and functional specialists
Provide hands-on operational oversight
Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience
An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years experience
12+ years of experience in program management, capital project execution, or operations leadership
Experience managing large-scale capital programs ($300M+)
Experience in complex, regulated industries (e.g., aerospace, defense, manufacturing, industrials)
Experience leading cross-functional and multi-site teams
Experience with international programs and multi-country operations
Ability to travel domestically as required
