About the role
- Provide analytical support through all design phase, production manufacturing and maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) services.
- Perform state-of-the-art ANSYS finite element analysis for stress, vibration, mission low cycle fatigue life, residual life (fracture mechanics) prediction, and optimization.
- Participate in cross-discipline integrated product teams to provide design solutions that balance performance, cost, schedule, and quality requirements.
- Ability to write clear documentation, as well as to create and provide impactful, persuasive technical presentations to IPT, CIPT and customers.
- Develop and sustain a healthy work relationship based on mutual trust with peers, internal and external customers where significant interaction is expected.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a degree program in Mechanical, Aerospace and Civil Engineering
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal, time management and organizational skills
- Basic experience with some of these software and programming languages: ANSYS, APDL, Workbench, ABAQUS, PATRAN / NASTRAN, MATLAB, VBA, Python, C++, Fortran, MS Office or NX
- Enrolled on its senior year of college
