About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create and maintain process documentation for assigned tasks, regularly reviewing and refining documentation to reflect process changes, best practices and compliance requirements.
- Compile and analyze financial information for reports and metrics to other RTX departments, employees and supervisors.
- Perform calculations, analysis, and data entry to support the labor process including Continuous checks for work accuracy to detect and correct errors within current responsibilities.
- Calculate and processing employee final paychecks daily by reviewing and reconciling timecards, including vacation or paid time off balances.
- Effective customer support through reliable, quick, and accurate problem resolution.
- coordinate with other RTX departments to guarantee precise responses and seamless operations.
- Understand and ensure compliance with federal & State wage and hour laws and RTX policies.
Requirements
What you’ll need- An Associates degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant payroll, timekeeping, finance, auditing, and/or compliance experience.
- Strong PC-based skills;
- Experience demonstrating intermediate skills in MS Word and Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.)
- Experience in Payroll or Timekeeping gained in a corporate environment.
- Working knowledge of SAP, EV5, and WorkDay with emphasis within areas of Payroll or Timekeeping.
- Detail oriented
- Self-starter with ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize task to manage workload effectively with effective problem solving and decision-making skills to promote work efficiency
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service through verbal and written communication in a corporate environment.
