About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Planning and scheduling cost proposals
- Coordination of cost, schedule, and technical data for the development of the proposal in line with the specifications of the Request for Proposal (RFP)
- Collection and accumulation of cost data in coordination with the proposal team as well as functional departments
- Researching and analyzing historical data from similar past performance programs
- Assist in the developing of cost models and strategies associated with the bid/proposal
Requirements
What you’ll need- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office®, specifically Microsoft® Excel®
- Experience with Pricing Tools used in cost development (e.g., QuickBooks®, Cost-OS®, Unison True Planning®, etc.)
- Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) and/or other Government Procurement/ Costing regulations
