About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Executes procurement processes and standards, including RFP management, negotiations, cost accountability, and program implementation.
Serves as the primary point of contact for client inquiries regarding order status, changes, and cancellations, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
Collaborates with buyers on purchasing activities for goods, materials, supplies, and services, optimizing procurement efficiency.
Prepares and processes purchase orders and payment approvals to facilitate smooth procurement operations.
Compiles and analyzes price proposals, financial reports, and other critical data to support informed decision-making.
Assists in the development of request for proposals (RFPs) and bid packages, ensuring competitive and compliant sourcing.
Maintains comprehensive records of purchases, costs, deliveries, product performance, and inventories, ensuring account requirements are met.
Coordinates with suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries, proactively resolving issues such as shortages and delays.
Manages relationships with designated suppliers within a specific commodity, fostering strong partnerships.
Oversees schedules and purchase orders for Commodity, ensuring alignment with business needs.
May be responsible for delivery assurance activities, ensuring smooth and reliable supply chain operations.
Perform other related duties as assigned to support departmental goals and ensure operational efficiency.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
Advanced English proficiency with the ability to communicate fluently and professionally in both spoken and written English.
