About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Architect and develop software for cutting edge satellite ground systems
- Evolve the current software and system architecture to support customer defined requirements
- Provide software engineering expertise for bids on future development activities
- Guide the full software lifecycle including design, development, test, delivery, and maintenance
- Foster modern DevSecOps development practices and utilize Agile processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- A Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- 10 years of prior relevant experience
- Experience designing and developing object-oriented software using Java
- Experience with Java multi-threading
- Experience with microservices in cloud environments
- Experience developing planning & scheduling software or similar software systems
- An active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required prior to start date
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
