About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform and/or assist in the execution of strategic program Parts, Materials & Process Management Plans (PMPMP)
Interface with Designers, Supply Chain, Program Management, and other IPT disciplines to collaboratively identify and resolve component obsolescence and shortage issues
Create periodic reports, summaries, and presentations to leadership and customers
Track and report status of technical issues relating to drawing and specification changes
Provide technical support to procurement and engineering for potential technical component alternatives/resolution recommendations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience with product development lifecycles
Previous experience with product development lifecycles as it applies to electronics manufacturing processes
Demonstrated ability to interpret technical data packages (TDP)
Must be eligible to apply and procure DoD Secret Security Clearance within 1-year of accepting position
Understanding of the Parts Manager role including familiarity with parts, suppliers, and basic aspects of parts obsolescence.
