About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform and/or assist in the execution of strategic program Parts, Materials & Process Management Plans (PMPMP)
- Interface with Designers, Supply Chain, Program Management, and other IPT disciplines to collaboratively identify and resolve component obsolescence and shortage issues
- Create periodic reports, summaries, and presentations to leadership and customers
- Track and report status of technical issues relating to drawing and specification changes
- Provide technical support to procurement and engineering for potential technical component alternatives/resolution recommendations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
- minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience with product development lifecycles
- Previous experience with product development lifecycles as it applies to electronics manufacturing processes
- Demonstrated ability to interpret technical data packages (TDP)
- Must be eligible to apply and procure DoD Secret Security Clearance within 1-year of accepting position
- Understanding of the Parts Manager role including familiarity with parts, suppliers, and basic aspects of parts obsolescence.
