Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the design and development of airborne electronic products meeting size, weight, power, reliability, and cost requirements
  • Communicate with executive leadership on matters of significant importance
  • Support multiple programs concurrently and generate requirements documentation, design artifacts, verification and test plans
  • Collaborate with a cross-disciplinary product development team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree with minimum 7 years’ experience
  • Experience with modern electronic system design, including high-performance FPGAs, Flash and DDR memory interfaces
  • Knowledge in schematic capture, PCB layout support, signal integrity analysis, and validation of FPGA-based digital and mixed-signal systems
  • Proficient in electronic design and simulation tools such as Mentor Xpedition, SPICE-based simulators, MATLAB, and HyperLynx SI
