About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop export and import strategies for the vetting of international suppliers, PO issuance, and foreign manufacturing of defense and dual use articles.
Develop licensing plans and provide guidance for complex licensing strategies and program planning.
Provide consistent interpretation under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR) to Business Unit employees.
Prepare, submit, track, obtain and manage from the U.S. government, all necessary export and import licenses, permits, and certifications.
Work closely with internal customers to develop export and import approvals that allow for the efficient export of technology, technical data, hardware, and services.
Ensure review of the scope of the effort with the applicable functions, stakeholders and the foreign parties prior to submittal.
Obtain signed agreements and other required documentations from foreign parties.
Provide status updates to the programs/stakeholders for awareness.
Review approvals to ensure execution and deliverables are considered.
Manage day-to-day execution of agreements and licenses, ensuring compliance for all activities under the agreements and licenses.
Monitor authorizations for any changes effecting the authorizations.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience
Experience and application of US GT regulations such as; ITAR, EAR, Customs, ATF, etc.
Experience with DECCS, SNAP-R, OCR EASE and/or SAP/GTS related system
Experience in drafting, submitting, implementing, and managing agreements, licenses, General Correspondences, Third Party Transfers, complex export strategies, and /or similar requests
