About the role
- Provide technical analyses and define how the system works, creating use cases
- Clarify requirements, perform system engineering analyses, and algorithm development
- Define and derive requirements and interfaces; control interface definitions
- Lead integration and test team through enterprise testing
- Provide engineering support for execution of a portion of the program's test program including test processes and baseline definition, test architecture design, verification, and validation
- Support regression testing across deliverable releases to the program baseline
- Support and attend technical reviews and technical interchanges in support of the program
- Collaborate with program teams to ensure requirement validation and verification
Requirements
- Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
- Minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience
- Experience with systems engineering lifecycle, roles and functions
- Experience in one or more: operations concept development, requirements management, functional analysis/synthesis, interface definition and control, verification and validation
- Development experience on a Satellite ground control system
- Experience with Agile and/or DevSecOps development methods
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
- U.S. citizenship is required (only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance)
- Security Clearance: TS/SCI - Current
- Preferred: Experience working in DevOps and/or DevSecOps in an Agile development environment
- Preferred: Understanding of CONOPs related to new missions
- Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Jira
