About the role

  • Combination of daily project management responsibilities, operational responsibilities, and delivery of key projects across Collins Aerospace entities.
  • Report to the Sr Manager, DT Site Services.
  • Maintain relationship with site stakeholders and manage vendors.
  • Identify and plan End User Services projects to support strategic and operational requirements.
  • Deploy technology and streamlined processes to enhance the Collins Aerospace Digital environment.
  • Manage multiple concurrent infrastructure projects leveraging contracted teams as needed.
  • Develop, manage and execute projects to maintain software and hardware currency, including technology refreshes and upgrades.
  • Work with RTX and appropriate vendors to monitor service levels, projects and field service performance.
  • Inventory key DT services used at site, identify issues, work with service owners to correct, and execute cost optimization opportunities.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
  • 3-5+ years of experience managing IT projects involving the implementation of mobility solutions.
  • Demonstrates strong technical aptitude, project management, and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, Active Directory, Network Printing, End User technologies, and Mobility management platforms.
  • Experience and background work with large teams to define and execute IT projects.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and able to effectively lead efforts including the delivery of complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Must be okay with travel 20%.
  • Experience in vendor management and monitoring service levels with vendors/contractors.
  • Preferred: 3-5+ years of managing a global End User Services environment; proficiency in analytical thinking, innovation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
