About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary Flight Management liaison to internal and external customers on the E-2D program, ensuring our flight management development aligns with schedule and requirements
- Lead the creation and maintenance of a comprehensive story backlog that outlines all necessary tasks for the full life cycle of development, making a complex project manageable and transparent
- Oversee the day-to-day execution of Flight Management scope on the E-2D program
- Create and manage Risks and Opportunities for your WBS items
- Collaborate across various department agile teams to delegate tasks and track progress, ensuring all objectives are met on time and within budget
- Drive the department's contributions to bids and proposals, securing our role on Military Fixed Wing aircraft for years to come
- Engage in occasional domestic travel as needed (less than 10%)
Requirements
What you’ll need- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
- Experience with agile methodologies and their application in large-scale projects
- Experience as a Product Owner or Scrum Master
- Experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM)
- Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS or JAMA
- Experience with writing and managing Risks & Opportunities
- Proven experience in project management within the aerospace or defense industry
- Demonstrated ability in leading cross-functional teams effectively
- Experience with Flight Management software applications
- Experience owning work performed at Global Engineering Centers including GETC-India and/or GETC-Puerto Rico
- Experience owning work performed by SOW subcontract engineers
- Strong foundation in communication skills and team collaboration.
