About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and optimize SAP BW batch jobs and dataflows
- Troubleshoot and resolve batch job and workflow issues
- Monitor batch operations: evaluate current state, recommend and implement improvements
- Define best practices for automated workflows and batch operations
- Participate in overall batch operations architecture and strategy
- Flexible hours required and/or weekends, as needed, to meet deadlines or to fulfill batch operation obligations participating in an on-call rotation.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in SAP or batch operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or related discipline or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree
- Experience with SAP Business Warehouse batch development and support
- Experience with Run My Jobs
- Experience with general SAP development (ABAP and/or HANA)
- Experience with Redwood scheduling tools
- Experience with UNIX
- Large scale implementation experience with complex solutions environment
- Candidates with DoD experience
- Ability to work flexible hours and to be on-call on weekends.
