About the role
- Design and build a robust, scalable agentic orchestrator to manage and coordinate multiple AI agents
- Develop a suite of SDLC agents specialized for requirements analysis, code generation, debugging, and automated testing
- Craft and refine sophisticated prompts to guide agent behavior and ensure high-quality, reliable outputs from LLMs
- Implement Agent-to-Agent (A2A) communication protocols enabling collaboration and information sharing between agents
- Develop and integrate Multi-agent Consensus Protocols (MCP) to help agents agree on actions, resolve conflicts, and validate work
- Implement API-driven GenAI tools to enhance the CI/CD Pipeline
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate the agentic system into existing development workflows
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices for AI-driven systems
- Support classified programs and technologies and contribute to mission-focused aerospace and defense solutions
Requirements
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
- Minimum of 8 years of Software Engineering experience
- Experience as a Software Developer, with experience in Python
- Experience with LLMs and AI frameworks (e.g., poolside, LangChain)
- Experience with prompt engineering, including techniques for complex reasoning, planning, and tool use
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
- Position Role Type: Onsite (Richardson TX, Aurora CO, or State College, PA)
- Security Clearance: None/Not Required (note: later text states "This position requires a security clearance")
- Experience with platform development and DevOps tools, including containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) [preferred]
- Experience with the Atlassian suite (JIRA, Confluence, etc.) [preferred]
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation [preferred]
- Experience with UI design [preferred]
- Knowledge of distributed systems, process management, and workflow orchestration [preferred]
- A conceptual understanding of advanced agentic concepts like A2A communication and multi-agent consensus [preferred]
- Contributions to open-source AI or agent-related projects [preferred]
