About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Co-lead the advancement of DevSecOps roadmaps and initiatives.
- Spearhead cutting-edge DevSecOps tools and technologies.
- Champion DevSecOps best practices across the organization.
- Design and implement complex automation pipelines for embedded systems in air-gapped environments.
- Automate security testing and vulnerability scanning using static and dynamic application security tools (SAST/DAST).
- Develop complex containerized environments and applications.
- Design and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to ensure consistent and scalable infrastructure.
- Build dashboards for observability and performance reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product development teams to deliver innovative solutions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Well-versed in DevSecOps principles, benefits, technologies, and best practices.
- Experience developing in air-gapped, on-premises environments.
- Skilled in Bash and Python.
- Seasoned experience with GitLab and GitLab Runners.
- Expertise with containerization tools such as Docker, Podman, or Kubernetes.
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet, and IaC tools like Terraform or similar tools.
- Seasoned experience in Linux environments.
- Experience with JFrog Artifactory or equivalent artifact management tools.
- Strong knowledge of IP networking and protocols.
- Active U.S. government-issued security clearance (must be transferable).
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience.
