Senior Engineer, Project Engineering

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supports the development of project plans, schedules and budgets
- Tracks project progress, resolves problems, develops solutions
- Forecasts project revenue
- Coordinates with other functional organizations
- Identifies and addresses project problems
- Analyzes data gathered and develops solutions and recommendations
- Prepares and presents status and technical content to management
- Works closely with team members on hardware field investigations
- Leads Class 1 and Class 2 engineering change execution
- Maintains and presents plans and progress reports
- Performs risk assessments and develop mitigation plans
- Facilitates project tasks with various functional organizations
- Supports military budget EVMS activities & project management activities
- Actively participates in initiatives for continuous improvement
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Civil or Aerospace Engineering
- 5 years of engineering experience or an Advanced degree with 3 years of engineering experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications
- Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- Advanced Engineering degree or MBA
- Experience working in the Aerospace Industry or with jet engines
- Previous gas turbine compressor experience
- Experience with MS Office, Teamcenter, SAP, MS Project or other scheduling software
- English (read, write, speak) is required when communicating with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who only speak English.
