About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Utilize mechanical hardware design experience with ruggedized structures and electronics packaging
  • Develop technical solutions for phase array radars/electronics in military programs
  • Help create definitions of mechanical outlines, specifications, and drawings
  • Lead design release into production with limited supervision
  • Prepare proposal inputs; ensure standards and requirements are met
  • Perform complex tolerance analyses; interact with senior personnel
  • Collaborate with engineering disciplines, operations, and programs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • U.S. citizenship required for security clearance
  • Typically requires a degree in STEM and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Minimum of 3 years in the design of radar architecture or electronics packaging for military or aerospace applications
  • Experience with ANSI/ASME Y14.5 GD&T experience in practice
  • Experience with ANSI drawing standards and technical data package creation
  • First order structural analysis techniques
  • Experience with design to military and commercial standards
  • Experience in leading small development efforts and teams
  • Experience with CREO (Pro/E) or similar 3D solid modeling software
  • Familiarity with design and manufacturing processes of CCAs, mechanical/RF components, and electronics assemblies
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills
