About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Organize and lead the development of full lifecycle solutions from CONOPS to Validation while collaborating with the customer, subcontractors, and executive leadership
- Organize and lead lab activities including setup, configuration management, and testing
- Ensure Modeling, Hardware, and Software Interfaces utilize a scalable ontology
- Mentor several professionals with varying levels of experience
- Own the preparation, cost, and schedule of Design Reviews as well as Integration, Dry Run, and Formal Qualification Testing
- Influence decision-makers with recommended courses of action across complex problems
- Review and document major changes in systems or processes to solve complex problems
Requirements
What you’ll need- Mastery in tooling to include CAMEO, Rhapsody, Microsoft products, or tasking boards (Jira, IBM EWM, etc.).
- Strong integration and test knowledge including digital twins, test procedures, test automation, test execution, and/or test reporting.
- Practical experience across the full Systems Engineering V – from CONOPS development to Sustainment.
- Knowledge of or application of Earned Value Management System.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams of design professionals including electrical, mechanical, software, test, logistics and other system engineers.
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in related field and minimum 7 years of experience.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued DoD secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
- Must be able to obtain Top Secret clearance.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
