About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist in the collaboration with cross-functional teams to design and implement efficient DevSecOps pipelines tailored to software development needs.
  • Support the development of automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery processes to enhance efficiency and accelerate software development cycles.
  • Help with the implementation and continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines, shaping the future of software delivery.
  • Assist in selecting, configuring, and integrating tools to enhance software development flow, optimizing productivity and performance.
  • Work closely with DevOps managers and relevant teams to understand and adapt DevOps practices, ensuring alignment with specific program needs.
  • Provide support in DevSecOps implementation to assist software teams in adopting DevSecOps tools and best practices.
  • Enable development teams to automate artifact generation and manage product lifecycles efficiently.
  • Assist in automating software releases while ensuring quality, cybersecurity, and safety requirements are met.
  • Support behavioral- and test-driven development practices to enhance software design, implementation, and test automation.
  • Help design, develop, and maintain dashboards that display DevSecOps metrics, performance measures, and indicators of continuous improvement.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
  • Internship or project experience with CI/CD pipeline development and automation tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar).
  • Familiarity with containerization, orchestration, and security practices in DevSecOps environments.
  • Some knowledge of aerospace, defense, or medical devices with a focus on secure software development and compliance standards.
