About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist in analyzing system data flows to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
Support the development of secure product designs.
Develop, deploy and automate security tools for identifying product security flaws.
Collaborate with teams to ensure compliance with cybersecurity requirements during product development stages.
Participate in vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and other security evaluations under supervision.
Support organizational adoption of the Avionics Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC).

Requirements

What you’ll need

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Coursework with a focus in Cybersecurity
Experience with tailoring and hardening of operating systems
Experience with system and application penetration testing
Experience with SAST and analyzing security impact of code defects
Experience with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
Experience with Model Based Systems and Software Development (e.g., Cameo, MathWorks tools)
Experience in Embedded Software Development, including real time embedded systems and programming languages such as C, C++, or Ada
Knowledge of Cybersecurity Control Frameworks and Cyber Risk Assessments, preferably in embedded systems environments beyond Internet of Things (IoT).
