About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own Ops proposal, growth, and strategy development through TTP, ensuring successful capture and profitability of future NGSRI business.
- Collaborate with Program Leadership Team, POMs and MPMs supporting the NGSRI portfolio, ensuring effective integration into execution strategies.
- Execute Ops proposal development, including task descriptions, BOEs, IMS and standard structure development, factory strategies, manufacturing planning, and other strategic initiatives.
- Support make/where plans, ensuring best source of supply to maintain affordability and capacity throughout the program lifecycle.
- Act as primary Ops interface with program customers, peers, and cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring alignment, transparency, and high service standards.
- Develop and coordinate Ops inputs for gate reviews and support approved strategies in partnership with the execution teams.
- Provide overall leadership of the operations process development from manufacturing, test, and producibility.
- Support capital planning, Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) assessments, and long‑range planning activities.
- Demonstrate strong business acumen in managing budget, schedule, and resource plans.
- Deliver clear verbal and visual presentations to internal stakeholders and U.S. Government customers.
- Participate in TDP reviews and approvals using common PDM systems.
- Drive cross‑functional collaboration to remove barriers, align teams, and achieve program objectives.
- Develop competitive bids and proposals in partnership with supply chain, manufacturing and other cross-functional organizations.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience.
- Experience leading teams in a matrixed organization.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and influence skills.
- Experience developing executive level presentations and briefing business leadership.
- Experience working with external customers and all levels of internal leadership.
- Proven ability to lead cost-reduction and process-improvement initiatives.
- Experience with Six Sigma/CORE tools and methodology.
