About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

responsible for the preparation and control of contractual cost and schedules requiring validated cost/schedule control systems
perform financial analyses such as funding profiles, base forecasts, GSCM sales outlooks, and variance analysis
include GSCM duties such as: monthly tracking of functional budgets, monthly Earned Value Management execution and analysis, Estimates at Completion (EAC) preparation, Program review preparation and presentation
proactively work with the GSCM Program Leads in maintaining and analyzing portfolio performance
employ technical knowledge of finance and program control, problem solving, communication and leadership skills
work independently as well as partner cross-functionally with GSCM leads, Control Account Managers (CAMs), OSQ finance and the various program offices

Requirements

What you’ll need

A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
Experienced with desktop computer skills, particularly in the use of the MS Office suite with an emphasis in Excel
Experience with finance tools
Experience comparing actuals vs budget and explaining variances
