About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop change management plans, including completing change management assessments, identifying stakeholders, training, coaching, and communications needs
- Identify, analyze and prepare risk mitigation tactics
- Identify and manage anticipated and persistent resistance
- Consult and coach project teams
- Create actionable deliverables for the core change management plans: sponsor plan, communications plan, coaching plan, training plan and resistance management plan
- Write, edit, and prepare internal materials, including organization publications, group emails, intranet pages, training materials, playbooks, and other organizational communications, for dissemination through organizational communication channels
- Creates and disseminates information to drive employee engagement
- Support and engage senior leaders
- Coach people managers and supervisors
- Manage stakeholders
- Ensure tool updates are communicated to superusers and training leads, as well as flowed out to general users
- Assess current training needs and documentation that drives consistency
- Lead training efforts for engineering tools and process
- Assist with the creation of training materials, including training guides, training courses, and videos
- Track and report issues
- Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
Requirements
What you’ll need- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
- A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process
- Experience with and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent active listening skills
- Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
- Experience with SharePoint design and development required
- Experience with Atlassian Confluence wiki development
- Experience writing executive communications, slide design, and documentation
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
- Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
- Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
- Problem solving and root-cause identification skills
- Able to work effectively at all levels of an organization
- Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
- Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
- Change management certification or designation desired
