About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform data analysis using different tools & coding languages
Administration of database and visualization environments
Database administration and overall data engineering support
Ad-hoc investigations regarding data issues
Reverse engineering of legacy code to find and implement fixes
Design, implement, and document CI/CD Pipelines
Validate data flow/cleaning with data engineering group
Perform code review, versioning, and production deployment
Automate analyses and data cleaning procedures
Statistical analysis to quantify completeness and validity of a data source
Data organization and maintenance in various environments
Follow and complete stories/tasks in an Agile Scrum environment
Understand the context of technical data and how to appropriately normalize data into business metrics

Requirements

What you’ll need

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
Experience in Data Management and presentation
Communication and presentation skills in English (verbal and written).
Demonstrated experience with relational databases (Oracle, MS SQL Server, etc.)
Python, C#, and PL/SQL coding experience
Aerospace industry experience
Mentoring/Coaching experience
Knowledge in Agile methodologies
SAP experience
Experience using JIRA / Confluence / Azure DevOps / GitHub / AWS
