About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide services for infrastructure provisioning, application deployment, and general IT support for Enterprise Services SIOP application suite
Participate in support, planning, definition of best practices, and collaborative meetings
Provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software related to a Windows/Linux infrastructure in cloud (Azure & AWS) environments
Work with a small team on cloud projects and system support
Deliver practical solutions to complex problems
Design and support new and existing cloud applications infrastructure
Overseeing cloud operations and designing infrastructure for new workloads
Continuously improving and maturing cloud services
Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous RedHat Enterprise Linux and Microsoft Windows environment
Create and maintain system documentation, including best practices, procedures, and policies
Work effectively in a geographically distributed team environment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Azure and AWS environment
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics or related discipline or equivalent combination of schooling in lieu of degree
5+ years of experience in deploying and managing cloud-based solutions on Azure and/or AWS
Expertise in administering both Windows and Linux server operating systems
Robust understanding of computers, networks, servers, storage, and databases
Experience in server architecture and troubleshooting methodologies.
Capable of developing solutions and documenting various technical issues
Proficient with technologies such as Active Directory, WSUS, VMware
Strong scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Terraform/HCL)
Knowledge of Agile methodologies
Microsoft Azure certification(s)
