About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Work Transitions process by developing and maintaining tools, templates, and forms to ensure effective implementation and adherence across relevant teams.
  • Collaborate with process owner to define and implement requirements for establishing a robust risk management framework for sourcing changes or restarting manufacturing at a source of supply for parts, components, or assemblies.
  • Facilitate the transition process by serving as the reviewer for Work Transitions and Cold Starts, ensuring alignment with company standards and requirements.
  • Review and evaluate all types of Work Transition Exceptions to ensure compliance with process requirements and organizational standards.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with organizational standards, processes, and requirements.
  • Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with transitions to maintain product quality, on-time delivery, and cost efficiency.
  • Create and facilitate the technical assessment package, ensuring the Global Transitions team receives a complete and accurate package with all part requirements.
  • Identify and document opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and ensure alignment with CORE requirements.
  • Track and monitor the performance of transitioned work to ensure alignment with Pratt & Whitney’s quality standards, delivery goals, and organizational commitments.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • 2 years of experience
  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, sourcing, and supply chain management.
  • Experience in developing and implementing risk management strategies, particularly in transitions or supply chain changes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex processes and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Exceptional judgment and professional maturity, with the ability to make sound decisions in complex situations.
