About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Function as the primary representative of the NSS Office of the Chief Engineer (OCE) to the SSIS Program Director
Lead the SSIS Program CEs as both a technical lead and People Leader
Accountable for technical Engineering execution of the programs within the SSIS portfolio
Ensure Engineering and OCE processes, policies, directives, and initiatives are appropriately deployed
Represent Engineering, the OCE, and the SSIS programs to senior external individuals and customers
Ensure adequate and appropriate Engineering resources are being deployed
Identify and engage to address in a timely manner any Engineering issues that arise

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's of Science Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience
Experience leading a large, multi-disciplined technical team
Experience interfacing with senior internal leadership and external customers
Willingness to travel to other Raytheon and customer locations
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date
