Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare and issue low to medium complexity Purchase Orders in alignment with Raytheon policies and FAR/DFARS/ITAR requirements
Manage the full PO lifecycle, including supplier selection, RFP/RFQ submission, receipt and analysis of quotes, negotiation support, PO documentation, and order closeout
Monitor open orders, update delivery status, communicate schedule risks to Operations/Program teams, and escalate to expedite when necessary
Support sourcing efforts, including identifying potential new suppliers and partnering with Supplier Quality and Engineering during qualification activities
Build and maintain professional relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders across Program Management, Engineering, Operations, and Supplier Quality
Assist team members with procurement tasks in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience
An Advanced Degree in a related field
Experience in the procurement lifecycle, such as supplier selection, RFP/RFQ issuance, quote analysis, negotiations, PO placement, and supplier support
Experience using SAP/PRISM or other procurement/supplier management systems
Knowledge of government procurement regulations (FAR/DFARS/ITAR)
Strong collaboration and communication abilities when working with cross-functional partners
Experience supporting supplier performance metrics such as OTD, cost savings, and continuous improvement initiatives
Ability to multi-task and perform effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
