About the role
- Lead Smart Factory initiatives to establish the foundation for a highly automated, lights‑out manufacturing environment.
- Drive technology implementations that generate actionable data, reduce days‑to‑manufacture, lower non‑conformance, and minimize WIP.
- Drive the Digital Resiliency initiative by identifying and eliminating recurring digital issues that cause operational downtime.
- Ensure uninterrupted production by proactively identifying, escalating, and resolving computer, network, and system‑related issues that may impact operational continuity.
- Supervise and support a cross‑site team responsible for addressing all Manufacturing Execution System (MES) issues.
Requirements
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
- 4 years of experience within a Manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience with Real-Time Location Systems (RTLS)
- Smart Factory/Industry 4.0 Implementation experience
- Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
