About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and implement SAP ABAP programs and enhancements in the plant maintenance and depot areas.
Collaborate with functional Business System Experts to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Work with the technical team and business stakeholders to support Plant Maintenance and Aftermarket processes.
Develop and maintain SAP Fiori applications in the Plant Maintenance area, ensuring seamless integration with backend systems.
Debug and resolve system issues, providing technical support to ensure smooth operations.
Optimize existing ABAP code and perform code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and performance standards.
Support system upgrades, patches, and other technical initiatives as required.
Document technical designs, processes, and solutions in compliance with RTX standards.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 8+ years' experience in SAP ABAP development
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or related discipline
5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development
Proven expertise in SAP Plant Maintenance
Experience with SAP Fiori development, including UI5 and OData services
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of SAP modules relevant to the Plant Maintenance area (e.g., PM, MM, QM)
