About the role
- Design, develop, and implement SAP ABAP programs and enhancements in the plant maintenance and depot areas.
- Collaborate with functional Business System Experts to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Work with the technical team and business stakeholders to support Plant Maintenance and Aftermarket processes.
- Develop and maintain SAP Fiori applications in the Plant Maintenance area, ensuring seamless integration with backend systems.
- Debug and resolve system issues, providing technical support to ensure smooth operations.
- Optimize existing ABAP code and perform code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and performance standards.
- Support system upgrades, patches, and other technical initiatives as required.
- Document technical designs, processes, and solutions in compliance with RTX standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8+ years' experience in SAP ABAP development
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or related discipline
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development
- Proven expertise in SAP Plant Maintenance
- Experience with SAP Fiori development, including UI5 and OData services
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of SAP modules relevant to the Plant Maintenance area (e.g., PM, MM, QM)
