About the role
- Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual forecast and planning cycles (AOP, Brochure, LRP) in compliance with government accounting regulations (CAS/FAR) and in alignment with financial commitments.
- Develop and maintain financial models, variance analyses, and performance dashboards that provide leadership with timely, accurate, and actionable insight across the T&GE and RTRC organizations.
- Identify and implement process improvements and reporting enhancements - including Power BI and automated financial workflows - that increase forecast accuracy and reduce manual effort across the team.
- Lead, develop, and mentor a team of analysts - setting clear expectations, providing regular feedback, and creating growth opportunities aligned with individual and organizational goals.
- Establish and maintain a high-performance team culture grounded in accountability, analytical rigor, and executive-ready communication standards.
- Delegate effectively across the team, ensuring workload is appropriately distributed and analysts are developing ownership of their respective portfolios.
- Lead the team across business unit cross functional teams including the implementation of S4 Hana.
- Lead RTRC in capital appropriations managing the allocation budget across the organization with focus on changing priorities.
- Managing the team members across intercompany processing, cash management, USG customer invoicing and collections, project opening and journal entries across multiple business units, and the monthly close process.
Requirements
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years of experience.
- Experience with Excel, Microsoft Word, and/or Power Point.
- Experience SAP or similar business systems.
- Demonstrated experience managing and developing a team of finance professionals.
- Proven ability to operate independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver results with minimal oversight across a large and complex portfolio.
- Exceptional executive communication skills - written and verbal - with demonstrated experience presenting financial insights and recommendations to VP and SVP-level stakeholders.
