About the role

  • Support programs on Software Development Lifecycle activities (Requirements, Design, Code, Testing, etc).
  • Work in close coordination with other system/software engineers within the domain to support ACDE adoption.
  • Support system integration pipeline to automate and optimize the development and deployment process of complex military avionics systems.
  • Design and development of pipeline will involve: Research and selection of modern tooling. Integrating tooling, apps, and scripts into the development pipeline. Research and selection of technologies to enable automation and increase flow. Develop small applications and scripts to support integration and flow of software updates. Create framework to automate test, deployment, and delivery of software.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
  • Airborne Software development/testing experience.
  • RTCA/DO-178 (or similar) certification-based experience.
  • Knowledge in AGILE/Waterfall methods.
  • Programming Language experience: C/C++, Python, HTML, Javascript, CSS, Ada 95 etc.
  • Knowledge of Operating Systems: Windows, Linux, LynxOS, etc.
  • Experience with Tools/Processes: GitLab, SVN, Bamboo/Panda, Artifactory, Grafana, Coverity, Blackduck, etc.
