About the role
- Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, architects, developers, and users to deliver intuitive and effective user experiences for applications and metric solutions.
- Conduct and analyze user research to document user goals, decisions, information needs, tasks, and workflows.
- Plan and execute user and stakeholder interviews; creation of personas and jobs to be done (JTBDs); usability evaluations and assessments; storyboards, journey maps, user flows, and wireframes.
- Design and prototype solutions with a focus on modular, reusable components.
- Develop design artifacts for communication, specification, and testing purposes.
- Write Agile development user stories to guide implementation.
- Present and communicate design work effectively to stakeholders and team members.
- Support the broader UX team in implementing best practices and accessibility standards.
- Promote user-centered design and design thinking methodologies across projects.
Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Experience with designing and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent.
- Experience conducting user research, including interviews, usability testing, and the creation of personas, journey maps, and workflows.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
