💰 $86,800 - $165,200 per year

About the role

  • Communicate and translate technical data packages to assigned suppliers
  • Interpreting purchase order quality notes and quality requirements to ensure subcontractor/supplier understanding
  • Develop and conduct supplier engagements related to capability, capacity, opportunity and prevention/reduction of quality risk
  • Perform technical evaluations in support of cost and price analysis
  • Identifying supplier risk and systemic performance issues ensuring root-cause analysis and corrective solutions are identified and implemented with closure plans
  • Working with other Quality functions and Cross Business Teams (CBTs), to affect rapid closure of issues utilizing analytical capabilities and communications skills
  • Manage supplier requests for product/process changes
  • Prioritize and execute improvement opportunities
  • Effectively communicate technical and quality health/requirements of our suppliers to stakeholders
  • Support travel as needed (40%)

Requirements

  • Requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Quality, and/or Supplier Engineering or Supplier Management
  • Practical knowledge of Aerospace or commercial equivalent preventative tools – APQP, PPAP, SPC, FMEA, etc.
  • Experience in Root Cause Corrective Action processes
  • Work history with Management System regulations and standards- AS9100, AS9102, ISO-9000, AS9145
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
