About the role

  • Lead a team of approximately 30-40 multidisciplinary engineers
  • Drive successful technical execution across multiple contracts
  • Advance the program's strategic objectives
  • Collaborate with customers, cross-functional teams, and various program offices to deliver innovative technical solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering best practices and necessary safeguards.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience in system design, development, integration/verification, production, and/or sustainment within the Defense industry.
  • Experience presenting technical data and solutions to technical and non-technical audiences, senior-level stakeholders, and customers.
  • Experience working with multiple engineering disciplines.
  • Experience in contractual bidding, ROMs, and execution reviews.
  • Experience as a Design Authority / lead engineer within an Engineering Organization.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance after starting.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
