About the role

  • Execute materials planning processes within the PDC Planning team to support FAL sites and Network Admin/PDC planning needs
  • Align inventory and allocate materials to support final assembly line needs across multiple programs and ensure delivery assurance
  • Ensure SAP Material Master is set up properly for all parts and coordinate with Material Master team when issues arise
  • Maintain FAL tracker to ensure customers have accurate and timely updates on all orders
  • Manage the return of materials from FAL customers and provide replacements as applicable
  • Lead continuous improvement of the RSTO (Return Stock Transfer Order) process and develop future improvements to FAL metrics and customer interfaces
  • Execute & manage inventory buffers, optimization, and reduction targets without causing assembly floor delays
  • Support annual MMAS audits and ensure compliance with requirements
  • Drive process improvements, manage policies/procedures/KPIs, and support projects based on business needs
  • Lead and support inventory investigations & reconciliations, schedule investigations and ensure integrations with functional departments for accurate inventory and schedules
  • Communicate and manage execution for networked engines and build allocations with assembly sites and partners
  • Execute schedule and arrangement changes on networked engines and support production order maintenance and completion for shipped engines
  • Leverage best practices and industry standards to support process health and ensure data quality for future tools and ERP solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience in Operations, warehousing, Supply Chain, or related field; or an advanced degree with 5 years of experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
  • APICS / ASCM certification (preferred)
  • Six Sigma, ACE, or CORE advanced certification (preferred)
  • Extensive knowledge and familiarity with SAP System transactions
  • SQL and data analytics experience
  • Experience executing materials planning processes, inventory optimization and allocation to support final assembly lines
  • Experience leading continuous improvement, policies/procedures, KPIs and audits
  • Customer-focused, analytical, goal-oriented, and able to work in a dynamic, highly interactive environment
