About the role
- Perform networking and integration activities to support development, maintenance, and deployment of the system
- Manage and/or generate systems engineering related documentation of legacy and newly developed products (design memos, specifications, diagrams, Interface Control Documents, test requirements/plans, optimization procedures) in support of projects.
- Perform Data analysis, including development of various analysis tools
- Make informed technical decisions to drive project success and conduct various technical analyses to support the decision making process
- Perform trade studies and make recommendations with respect to insertion of new technologies and algorithms on our roadmap to meet required capability advances.
- Support the planning, execution and documenting of formal qualification tests
- Perform job analysis to estimate engineering effort required for specific tasks and projects.
- Support other engineering staff with system engineering related technical issues.
Requirements
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of prior experience in systems engineering, with experience in containerization technologies (ex. Docker, Podman, Kubernetes)
- SSL/TLS Certificate Management experience
- Experience with Red Hat Linux 9.x
- Experience with Systems Integration and Test and best practices
- Must have prior experience generating and delivering technical documentation to stakeholders, including drafting, reviewing, and updating materials
- Experience with automated test tools
- Test experience at customer or offsite locations
- Travel to visit customer sites for short periods of time is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required - Only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under these programs/contracts.
- Must be willing to obtain FAA clearance: Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) clearance.
