About the role
- Developing innovative technical solutions to a wide range of complex challenges spanning the entire product lifecycle, including proposal, advanced development, design, cooling, manufacturing, integration, and testing of radars, support equipment and electronics for military programs.
- Perform tolerance analyses to ensure form, fit, and function are as intended by design for the use-application.
- Lead small teams utilizing strong mechanical hardware design experience and knowledge in a fast-paced collaborative environment with ruggedized structures, interconnects, cooling, electronics packaging, tooling and/or array integration.
Requirements
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
- Experience in the creation, review and interpretation of technical documentation utilized in the development or production of hardware or tooling products.
- Experience in mechanical design, advanced design development, manufacturing or tooling processes, or related areas.
- Experience in the development, creation, release, or updates of engineering drawings utilizing a 3D CAD design tool.
