About the role
- Manage Global Trade (GT) digital strategy for P&W Military Engines business.
- Develop and manage a strategy for alignment across GT transactional and programmatic pillars and provide guidance, training and consultation on GT pillar policies and procedures (including on ITAR / EAR jurisdiction and classification, export authorizations, sanctions/party due diligence, transfer process requirements).
- Maintain strategies and processes for an effective, risk-assessed GT compliance program at both strategic and tactical levels for Military Engines.
- Ensure GT compliance goals are effectively supported within managed programs, including providing guidance on Global Trade laws, regulations, and controls; including training and risk assessments, as appropriate.
- Consult with supported programs to ensure adequate implementation of export plans for new activities / programs / projects.
- Ensure export strategies support the program’s strategic and transactional requirements, both internally (tools, records management) and externally (scope of transfer authority, parties).
- Support the implementation of GT policies and procedures within program organizations, including revisions to applicable L3 policies, communication strategies and training, and deployment of GT requirements to ensure business standard work and processes incorporate GT touchpoints.
- Support audits and investigations impacting assigned programs as well as incident management, identifying gaps, remediation and continually improving metrics, as well as leading or participating in investigations & disclosures.
- Support requirements for training and utilization of P&W and RTX GT management tools.
- Identify training needs, developing and delivering GT compliance training as required for team members and programs.
- Maintain awareness of changes to USG regulations, sanctions and P&W policies that impact GT standards and program policies and procedures; ensure timely flow-down of changes/updates with consideration of program standard work and policies.
- Contribute to periodic reporting, including control tower metrics, on export controls to multiple reporting channels.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of experience in a legal, regulatory or global trade function, including cross experience leading/managing people; OR an Advanced Degree and 7+ years of experience in a legal, regulatory or global trade function, including cross experience leading/managing people.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must have ability to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance.
- Juris Doctorate preferred.
- Program Management expertise preferred.
